What about support Atheros AR8161-based ethernet, integrated in m/b Gigabyte
GA-H77-DS3H? Based on product description, in must be equipped by AR8151
card. But it equipped by AR8161 card and alc driver does not recognize it.

There is no hardware support for that chip and you gotta buy a separate
PCI-E gigabit ethernet NIC; if you do, be sure to check the actual
chipset on the card to be supported by FreeBSD. The link above will
help. Good hunting.

Well. What about alx driver, developed by
http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collaborate/workgroups/networking/alx? Is
there any, who have tried to install it?
Also. "No hardware support" meant - "no and never" or "no, but probably"?
